And a late Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!

Found this lovely pattern on, of course, ravelry.com. These
stars are actually really easy to knit on straight needles. I think I ended up making around 12 total. A great way to use up various bits of leftover yarn that I was keeping for who-knows-what reason.

I think they definitely added some flair to my tree.

My WIP is the Baby Doll Tunic from the Holiday 2008 Vogue Knitting magazine. I am using Rowan Scottish Tweed DK instead of the suggested yarn to give it a different look. I really love tweed by the way. I also totally lucked out and got this yarn 50% off, always an added bonus. This is my first time ever buying Vogue Knitting & trying one of their patterns.

And lastly, here is a little project I made up. Its a Nintendo DS holder. I made this up as I went along and it has proved to be very handy. My DS comes along on car trips alot and is usually thrown into my knitting/reading/fun bag.
